Week 6 - Digital Painting Class

Now Here is another work I am happy with. My project in Digital Painting class here at NCAD was to create objects that fit in a world of my choosing. I decided on weapons for a future space gladiator sport! The cameras fly around catching close shots of the fighters as they try and get the ball into the goal on the opposing teams side of the field! The warriors in the line up have the shields with controlled rotating grips (that way they can hold it either like a riot shield or like a roman soldier,) and they get a gladius, and yes, that is a meat tenderizer pummel.) The running backs and quarterbacks get hammer-swords, (a weapon of my own design, {I want one very badly.}) The hammer-sword can easily be used as either a war hammer or a hacking blade, (the blade can be removed after pulling out one large bold at flipping off the three locking toggle clamps on the back end that hold the blade in tightly.) The pummel of the hammer-sword is the tip of a crowbar, (the nail removing end.) I really enjoyed this assignment, and I want to continue to build this IP as the years go by; making weapons is fun! ( I may make a game based off this soon, maybe I will model all of these in Maya.)
